POPPY LEAD PLANTER painted

A traditional sand-cast lead planter decorated with poppy flowers with buds and seed heads. The pattern was hand carved in wood and clay. It was then cast, welded together and fettled. The flowers have been given a distressed colour-tint, and the final planter has an antique patina to give it an aged appearance.This foundry-cast lead planter has been traditionally handmade in England by Heritage Lead Planters.
