BESPOKE ITEMS TO ORDER

This lead planter is a bespoke item made for an Italian Restaurant in Henley in Arden, Warwickshire. The brief was to incorporate the restaurant’s logo into a clean looking planter, that was a mixture of contemporary and traditional styles. Each of the letters on the planter were hand-cut with a scalpel, before being fixed to a wooden pattern. Each panel of the lead planter was then cast in oiled sand, before being welded together and fettled. The face of each letter was then traditionally gilded in either copper or silver leaf. We can create virtually any size, or style of lead planter, incorporating monograms, dates, heraldic devices or logos.This foundry-cast bespoke lead planter has been traditionally handmade in England by Heritage Lead Planters.
