This is our finely crafted Oak Green Man Lead Planter, handmade in foundry-cast solid lead and expertly finished by hand. Each of the four panels show the face of the Green Man, a classic foliate face with oak leaves and acorns growing from the mouth and eyes. Although undoubtedly pagan in origin the Green Man somehow made it into the church as a popular christian decorative motif and can be seen staring down at us from hundreds of churches and cathedrals across the country.
