When creating either a lead planter or window box in our Cornucopia range, our craftsmen are delighted when they release the cast panels from the sand moulds to reveal this truly stunning design, and rightly so. It takes a great deal of skill and patience to perfect the quality of detail shown here in the continuous garland of cornucopia, fruit and flowers – not only within the embellishment wrapping around the centre of this Cornucopia Large Round Lead Planter, but around the top and bottom mouldings, too. This foundry-cast solid lead garden planter has been traditionally handmade in England by Heritage Lead Planters.

CORNUCOPIA LEAD WINDOW BOX
The hand-crafted decoration on this finely modelled, solid lead window box takes its inspiration from Greek mythology; Cornucopia (more commonly known as the ‘horn of plenty’) represents a goat’s horn that traditionally played an important part of a feast when filled with fruit, and from which – legend has it – as an infant, the god Zeus was fed. With added intricate floral and beaded embellishment around the mouldings, this window box is truly eye-catching. This planter has been traditionally handmade in England by Heritage Lead Planters.
