In this Grapevine solid lead cistern, which is the second reincarnation of our grapevine design, the intricate detailing of veins on the leaves; the fine tendrils entwined around the strapwork trellis or sending out long shoots searching for somewhere to take a hold; the strength of the thickened vine base acting as an anchor, and the fullness of the ripened bunches of grapes is once again exemplified here on this foundry-cast lead cistern.
