As you walk around our St George and the Dragon 3 Panel Round Lead Planter the epic legend scrolls before your eyes. An ornate castle in a bleak, mountainous setting, fire scorched trees with dogs and crows picking over the bones of previous victims. Culminating in a dramatic confrontation between St George, struggling to control his frightened horse and our huge dragon, ferociously gouging at the planter with feral claws. This magnificent planter is large enough for all manner of planting schemes, from trailing and bushy plants to taller statement plants for a more architectural image.

SAINT GEORGE AND THE DRAGON ROUND LEAD CISTERN
As with our rectangular lead cistern depicting the legendary encounter between St George and the Dragon, the level of craftsmanship on this large, round lead garden cistern is equally remarkable. Hand modelled in bas-relief, one could almost believe the dragon was about to stagger out of the scene in the foreground, such is the 3D effect of the entire relief, not least its impressive clawed feet gripping the lower moulding. The Round Saint George and the Dragon Cistern showcases incredible creativity, and would surely garner admiration in any garden. This foundry-cast lead garden cistern is traditionally handmade in England by Heritage Lead Planters.

SAINT GEORGE AND THE DRAGON LEAD CISTERN
The high level of detail in this intricate design depicts a story of legendary heroics. Modelled in bas-relief, Saint George, wearing a knight’s full armour, sits atop his rearing horse as he thrusts his lance into the mighty winged dragon below, trampling over the bones, bodies and skulls of its victims as it lunges at Saint George. A true statement piece, our foundry-cast lead cistern would take centre stage in any garden, whether as a water feature or planted up. This beautifully detailed solid lead cistern has been traditionally handmade in England by Heritage Lead planters.
